FAQ: How to Install Lightroom Presets

Downloading Instructions for mobile:

  1. Check your Email: Look for an email or visit the website from which you purchased the Lightroom presets. You should have received a download link or a file attachment.
  2. Download and Unzip the Preset Files: Tap on the download link or open the file attachment on your mobile device. If the presets are in a compressed folder (ZIP), you'll need to extract them. Use a file manager app (such as Files on iOS or File Manager on Android) to unzip the folder. Choose a location on your device where you want to save the extracted files.

  3. Install Adobe Lightroom Mobile: If you haven't already, install the Adobe Lightroom Mobile app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Ensure you have the latest version of the app.

  4. Import the Presets: Open the Lightroom Mobile app on your device. Tap the "+" button to create a new album. Give it a name, and tap "Create." Open the album you just created.

  5. Add the Preset Files: Tap the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the top-right corner, then select "Add Photos." Navigate to the location where you extracted the preset files in Step 2. Select all the preset files you want to import.

  6. Sync and Apply the Presets: Lightroom Mobile will start uploading the preset files to the Adobe Creative Cloud. Once the upload is complete, you can access the presets in the album you created. To apply a preset to a photo, open the photo, tap the Edit icon (a slider icon at the bottom), and navigate to the Presets tab. You'll find the imported presets there. Simply tap on a preset to apply it to the photo.

That's it! You have successfully downloaded and imported your purchased Lightroom presets on your mobile device.
