Fall Table Decor

This post is sponsored by Walmart.

I adore this time of year it's just so cozy and fun to decorate for. I wanted to create a Fall table with rich colors and moody vibes! Creating a good tablescape is all about layers and levels. Think about it like dressing yourself for instance. Putting on a pair of pants and a sweater is cute but think about how your look can be elevated when you add that necklace, bracelet and a fun pair of earrings. Adding a hat and belt continues to enhance your look right? Same thing goes with our homes, and designing a pretty table is no different. It is true that less can be more sometimes, so it's important to make sure the pieces all compliment each other without competing with each other.

First, let's all agree that we're not going to worry about how terribly wrinkly the table cloth is okay? Ok good. I was in a bit of a hurry when pulling this together and didn't take the time to steam it. I do have any amazing steamer that works great if you're looking for one, I will link it here

To start, I used a basic white (very wrinkly) table cloth. To add some interest and pattern I'm using 2 leopard scarves down the center. You could also use a small throw blanket or any scarf you like! Here is a cute leopard scarf option I found online at Walmart. I wanted my table to feel cozy and elegantly casual so I draped the scarves loosely.

Next, let's add some candlesticks for height variation and because candles always help set the tone.

Now let's bring in the cute little pumpkins. I  love using white pumpkins. I found these ones at Walmart for under $4 each.

Plants are a great way to make things feel fresh and add a variety of texture as well as some pops of color. I found these cute little mini mums and miniature kale plants at Walmart as well.

For the table settings, I had these wooden plates on hand, but here is another fun option for wooden plates. I found these square black bowls at Walmart and absolutely love them. They feel high quality and look so chic and modern at a great price point. I also have the matching plates and the mugs.

Layering your table settings is another great way to add interest! I like adding a napkin to the top of each place setting.

We have an apple tree in our backyard so I decided to add a few apples to the mix. Apples totally scream Fall décor to me and I like how they give some more variety to the table. It would be cute to even add a little apple to each of the place settings over the napkin, if you opted out of using a napkin ring. Here is a pretty set of wooden napkin rings.

Using battery operated fairy lights always adds to the magic of a good table! I've linked the copper set I have here. The gold silverware is from Walmart and I adore it! I love using it for special occasions. It's so pretty and adds a dash of elegance.

When I think of Fall, I picture yummy pies. Wouldn't it be fun to have a pie party? You could have a variety of pies to serve or invite your guests to bring their favorite to share.  I found these darling little mini pies at Walmart for 50 cents a piece! I love using this tiered serving tray to display them and serve them on.

I filled up a few glass swing bottles with apple juice and cider. These bottles are great to have on hand for dinner parties!

That's it! We're all set to have a fun Fall get together. Thanks for reading! I hope you are enjoying this Fall season! Click the picture below to shop this look
